Business processes

In any organisation there are a number of business processes, owned by the business that can be identified. Each of these processes typically looks like the diagram below:

Each business process is supported by one or more business applications, which sits on a computer platform or platforms running a given operating system. Each of the operating systems is running on a computer, which holds the data that supports the business process.
