Why does my organisation need certification?

More and more organisations are implementing effective information security to the framework set by ISO 27002. As this process gains momentum, there is an increasing need for the organisation's suppliers and trading partners to meet the same standard as the organisation. There is also the need to be able to demonstrate this.

Certification against ISO 27001 demonstrates their compliance or, indeed, your compliance if you are a supplier to others.
